PCHS Class of 1956 65-Year Reunion
Dear PCHS Class of 1956,
This year marks the 65th anniversary of our graduation from Putnam City High School. It has been a tradition for us to celebrate our graduation every five years. This year we would like to continue that tradition with as many of our 1956 graduates as we can contact and who are interested in getting together.
A small poll of classmates indicates that a simple informal get-together would be preferred over the more elaborate celebrations we have had in the past. What we would like to do is meet for lunch at Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler at 33 E. 33rd St. in Edmond. Johnnie’s has a meeting room which we have reserved for Saturday October 30th from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm for our reunion. It can accomodate 50-60- participants. We will each buy our lunch at the counter and eat together in the meeting room.
As has been done in the past, we are coordinating the timing of our reunion we the “All-Classes” reunion that Putnam City High School has each year. The all classes reunion consists of a pancake breakfast on Saturday Oct 30th from 7:00-11:00 am. It will be at the PCHS cafeteria. The “All Classes” Reunion will be on Sunday in the PCHS auditorium starting at 1:00 pm and will honor the 50 year graduating classes of 1970 and 1971.
We sincerely hope that all of our classmates who can will join us so that we can rehash great times from our Putnam City school days. Please direct any questions to:
