Donnell Raye (Ladd) Biggers, of Warr Acres, OK, died at her home on Sun., Aug. 5, 2007, at the age of 63. Donnell had battled Lupus for the past 20 years. She graduated from Putnam City High School in 1961. From Bethany, her family lived in Vinita, Yukon and finally back to Warr Acres. Mrs. Biggers was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Ladd; her father, Winfred Ladd; and her eldest son, Brent Biggers. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Biggers; brother, Ronnie Ladd and wife Roxanna; sons, Mark and wife Amber, Michael and wife Kellie; daughter, Wendi and husband Brook; stepson, Bradley and wife Vickie; grandchildren, Miles, Mac, Claire, Paige, Foster, Cooper, Brennen, Delanie, Amber, Cobie, Bethany; and other loving family, Terry and Lori Gordon. Throughout her life, Donnell was the most loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were truly her (Hunie's) life's love and passion. Our family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of St. Anthony's Hospital, Manor Care in Midwest City, and a special thanks to Dr. Peter Morgan, Dr. James Kirk, and Dr. D. Randel Allen. In addition, the nurses and staff of Interim Hospice were a blessing to our family; a special thanks to C.L. Perry and Tajuana Carter. An open memorial service in her honor will be held at the Council Road Baptist Church, 2900 N. Council Rd., Bethany, at 2:00pm, Wed., Aug. 8, 2007. Private family burial will be at Bethany Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lupus Assoc. of Oklahoma would be appreciated. MERCER-ADAMS |
