Memorial service for Teresa "Terri" Diane McCoy, 54, of Medford, will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 5, 2010 in the First Church of the Naza-rene, 324 N. Cleveland, Enid, OK. The Reverends Bruce Johnson, J.T. Carnell, and Shane Rackley will officiate. Private inurnment will be in the afternoon in Hillsdale Cemetery, Hillsdale, OK. Visitation with the family will be 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening in Hills-Ely Funeral Home Chapel, Medford. Terri was born April 29, 1955 in Oklahoma City, OK to Charles R. and Elaine M. (Brown) Russell, and passed from this life Tuesday afternoon, March 2, 2010 at her home near Medford, after a courageous battle with cancer. She graduated Valedictorian from Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City and Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Alva, with a biology degree. On November 22, 1975, she married Phillip Dale McCoy in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Oklahoma City. The couple has made their home in the Renfrow and Medford areas. Terri has worked for Farm Service Agency since 1980 as Program Technician and acting CED. She was a member of United States Department of Agriculture NASCOE and OKASCOE, serving as president 2008-2009, and secretary/treasurer 1993-2004. She kept books for basketball games when her sons were in school and was active in All Sports Club and other activities at school. Terri was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, and served on the church board. Terri is survived by her husband, Phillip of the home; two sons, Kelly McCoy and wife, Jill and Kasey McCoy and wife, Maddie, all of Hillsdale, OK; two grandchildren, Jack and Hallie McCoy; her parents, Charles and Elaine Russell of Oklahoma City; one brother, Jim Russell and wife, Brenda of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Pam Cantillon and husband, Rich of Blackwell, and Sherrie Davis and husband, Chad of Yukon; brother-in-law, Greg McCoy and wife, Ginny of Enid; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives
